cause his song was the beginning of 'wake' in Korean Pop Music


1950 he born in South Korea and he debut 1968 


and he stated his career as Guitar list in Western Country Band 


and several time he organized a team and broke and organized and broke 


and 1975 he decide to sing alone with sound of 'TROT'


'돌아와요 부산항에' (Comeback To Port of Busan) 

was 'The First Hit Single' in his career  


and later he got big famous and popular 


but he suddenly arrested by weed trouble 1976 and he spent 4 years 


and later he can have chance to contract with Record Company 

and 1979 he released First Regular Album 


with '창밖의 여자' (Woman Out Of Window) 


and The Regular Album was Great Hit in South Korea 

and The Album was 'First Million Seller' in Korean Pop Music 


and he over controlled Korean Pop Music in 80's


and since when he's on the stage his fans called him as 'OPPA' 


he's the first singer who received 'OPPA' from fans 


and 1986 he had chance to release his Album in Japan 

and he sold more than million records 


and 1994 he sold Ten Million Records In South Korea and in Japan 

he sold more than 6 Million Records


and he released 18 Regular Albums   


and in April 2013 he brought news 

that he release New Regular Album prepared in 10 years
