RAP in Korean .....was not harder ....

make RAP TUNES and 'RAP XONGZ'   ......i guess it's not harder......

while i prepare this i tried to write and tried to remember

and remain what i listened and what i've known

but actually i was little hesitated ...........

cause it's different ....i guess totally different from RAP XONGZ you know

i mean it's interesting to know something

about strangers made RAP XONGZ by their language ......

but it's little far away from ORIGINAL

......................

if you're interest it's fine if you feel joy it's okay

but i wish you know that 'RAP' ............

was like stuff that far away from South Korea and it was not Korean's own

i just wanted to let you know something about RAP in KOREA

Korean Musician .....and 'RAP'

and stuffs......

how they know and how they get and how they changed

and how they use and how they joy 

i thought if you like Korean Pop Music 

i thought you should like it and interest it


in U.S .....

you know it's like since 1980 maybe....

Afro american made it as music and people likes

and i love to see that they joined the time with BEATS and MIC make great sounds

and developed and developed and U.S music market got grew up and grew up

and in the chart in U.S and in the car in the club in the earphones of people

and in all around custom and culture in USA harder to ignore about it

and harder to talk about American culture without HIP HOP MUSIC

and even people all around inside of U.S or outside of U.S

people made 'RAP XONGZ'

i guess RAP and sounds of HIP HOP seem like part of U.S .....

maybe not just in music


me? in here South Korea?

since1995 mom bought me MICHAEL JACKSON's album 'THE HISTORY'

(i remember it was double CD)



 
in that time i was too younger as i couldn't realize USA as how big country is it (?)

and how bigger than South Korea      (LOL)

so i remember that only MICHAEL JACKSON's best in U.S

yeah ~  in that time i thought he's the one and only

now i feel so~~~ shame to tell people

but in that time i guessed like no other singers in U.S

but later i could watch Korean CATV
(as various TV channels was there,and in South Korea they started service since 1994 like pay and watch CATV stuffs) 

and i could watch Music Channel since 1995 and so many programs introduced

great musicians and great HIT SONGS from western countries

but since long ago unfortunately in South Korea had tight and harder 'Censorship' before

western musicians introduce or release or promotion their songs in South Korea

so i remember that for example.......

even Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody was unable to play from the Radio and TV

and unable to buy in Korean record stores for long time forbidden..............just like that
  

and RAP MUSIC in South Korea....

SO UNABLE in South Korea

NOT POSSIBLE




and 2012 .............

im happy to talking about RAP XONGZ and RAP MUZIK to people world around

and later i can watch some music video clips by U.S HIP HOP artists.....

and 1996 i had chance to listen COOLIO's 'GANGSTER'S PARADISE'

in that time maybe in English 'DANGEROUS MIND'......his song was O.S.T of the movie.

 

so O.S.T album got able to release in South Korea

so i could watch the music video and i bought the O.S.T album

and i could listen to the song he sang ......
( i couldn't buy his own album in that time i remember several month later got released in Korea
and system was like that record labels and agency demanded again again again and later accepted and admit and allowed )



and in that time i couldn't help

now i think it's funny but i remember i listen to the song more than 1000 times

i don't know what the song has mean and my English was bad but i tried to memory that song

but you know what ?

usually RAP XONG has 3 verses

first time i wrote that song in Korean and you know how it's hard and silly work

and later i could meet a Korean classmate who grew up in U.S

and asked him to write in English

but it was HELLA HARD

but i tried to memory  that song ......
 
and i did it and i think most of my teenage time i was so into RAP MUZIK from U.S

and little funny to tell but that song (GANGSTER'S PARADISE)

 was my first RAPXONG that i memory

later i could read the system in Korean Censorship.....

some people thought it's require and necessary but i thought it's little unfair

cause artist like 'LL COOL J' he's songs were too hot

but his songs were OK to release in Korea



but DR.DRE and SNOOP DOGG.....or kind like that stuffs....

something wilder or violence ......or something .....

was not able to release

but record company and record lables demanded

and i remember later I could hear the news that SNOOP DOGG's album will release in Korea

and i cried when i can buy his album 'Doggy Style' in 1996



and in 1998 i could have chance to watch MTV JAPAN in South Korea

i didn't move to Japan just stayed in Korea

but i could watch several Japanese TV channel in Korea

it was nice experience

and at the same time i could compare Korean TV broad cast systems and stuffs

to Japanese TV channels and broad cast systems.....

i guessed many things are very similar but different and Japanese society

.................and custom ....were little strange but i was fun and unforgettable experience 

and several month later they turned and change the name as VISUAL BEAT 'VIBE'

and while i watch MTVJAPAN(VIBE)  

i could read and see how Japanese loves ROCK N ROLL~

almost TV Programs were full of ROCK N ROLL

but i could have chance to see they introduced RAP MUZIK and HIP HOP musicians in Japan

SCHADARAPARR, ZEEBRA, RIP SLYME YOU THE ROCK etc .....

they were very nice because they already figured out what is REAL

and they tried to make REAL Sound Of HIP HOP

in that time i was very envy them because mainstream or underground......whatever

so many various musicians knew what is REAL

and they seem like they really love to joy the rhyme by Japanese and Beats

they already figured out what is DJ work and programming and mixing sounds and express

i thought Korean need to change

and since 1999 and 2001 i could have chance to watch French CATV

they called as 'MCM' and in that time it was BIG INTEREST that

South Korea and France very very very far each other

but i was so amazing that i can watch French TV channel in Korea

and in that time i can see them singing and so surprised

even French people and musicians in France and around France knew what is REAL HIP HOP

and they tried to love to joy it


i'm so happy to see MC SOLAAR, MANAU......

in that time i was younger and my french was bad
so i can only remember the name of two ....

in that time in France 'Faudel ' was BIG POPULAR i remember ....

and since last year im so into ITALIAN RAP musician

like JOVANOTTI or FABRI FIBRA or VACCA or POVIA.......


so happy to think of it and time had pass and little by little

in Korea i guess developed and happy to remember

and when 2006 JAY- Z visit Korea

and he had concert and i was there SOOO CRAZY with his great RAP in the BEAT

and i remember something about 'ICE CUBE'



when i was so into RAP MUSIC made in USA

i can have information about what he made and done last 1991

he wrote BLACK KOREA and sang

i remember in that time i couldn't laugh with it  

anyway i wanna talk about Korean HIP HOP scene

but since when they started they didn't know what is REAL HIP HOP

i guess you should feel the same way

because ..........little sorry to tell but in here Korea has no RACISM like BLACK OR WHITE

or violence problem by guns.....unable to keep any gun

and people doesn't need to keep it and think about it anymore

and few people in Korea drunks a lot and drunk driving sometimes

but in Korea has no drug or weed or marijuana or stuffs like that ........

so Korean musicians focus and Korean fans focus ..........i think different
 
since long ago Korean people just interested about HIP HOP as fashion

shame to tell but it's true.....

not inside of lyrics because unable to figure out the usual slang in the song....

i don't know weather it can be a reason or not .....

but i think Korean people who likes 'HIP HOP' or 'RAP MUZIK'  

just tried to see and read  how do black people look

.................. in the music video clips while they rapping while they moving on the stage

their attitude or something

tried to learn about it .....

because Korean people thinks black people look very awesome

or in the music video when afro american sings and dances well 

Korean people thinks they look cooler and something more stronger and better look

not like closer to inside ..... maybe they don't interest ......

so you can see and feel it

when KOREAN wrote RAP XONG and sing it's almost like use it as factor of the song

in now days made it as part of the song

and if you listen to Korean RAP XONGS you may wanna ask "is this RAP?"
 
long time Korean musicians used as piece or part of DANCE MUSIC

and it would be like Korean's own dance music stuffs...........

i don't know but you know it's different from originality or different from U.S HIP HOP

but it has good point like in Korean RAP XONG has no cursing usually .....

and no 4 letter words usually .......and no wild stuffs......usually .....

they were 2guys a team and underground HIP HOP team

and little far away from popular and main stream

but they know what it REAL HIP HOP

and they kept and 2004 they released debut album

and it was debut album but various song was in double CD

that's why long time they prepared

maybe i been expecting this kind of 'RAP XONGS'

long time they tried to figure out REAL and ORIGINALITY

and they showed

they have no HIT song or stuffs like that ....

cause not many people know them

and i guess they don't have no chance to shoot their own music video clips

but they have good songs...

then later their fans made edited video stuffs or something

mainstream or not if you like RAP and if you wanna closer to RAP in Korean

i think they are great
