as 1st Generation 'Korean Wave Star' in China
he was such pioneer ....
first he was not singer but while he was work actor in Korea
almost staffs and people around him knew that he love to sing and sing very well
so many kind chances he can get and last 1997 march Korean Soap opera '별은 내가슴에'
(in English 'Star In My Heart')
he sang O.S.T of the Soap opera and this song was big hit single in the year
very simple to memory and easier to sing
and later he turned him self as singer and had plans to release albums
and after with his career was big issue for the fans in China
his many Korean Soap operas and albums he released
and he got many calls from China and HongKong and Taiwan
i guess if you're from China area you may know who is he
maybe Korean dancing Duo 'CLONE' and 'Ahn Jae Wook' was big popular in China area
later Korean people knew that he's crazy popular out there
and in now days if Korean teams or Korean singers have chance to go oversea
or have chance to have career and business they can have more plans and more chance to money
but in that time he was not like sing to get big money
in that time he felt big appreciate from Chinese fans and appreciate their unbelievable reacts
he just wanted to answer to Chinese fans and wanted to stay closer
so he made plans to concert in China just like that
i heard that now he's such empty hands
just ...he went to China and released several albums
and had concerts but he has not lot of money by his career in China
i guess get money or not was not big deal to him
little weird but .....sometimes i feel appreciate to him
cause he was like a person who open up the large door to other K-POP stars from Korea
it' was the best way to bring chances to other younger Korean musicians
i guess he let Chinese fans remain that he was good star from Korea and he does
