Mnet Asian Music Award was open last November 29th Tuesday night
This year opened in SINGAPORE ~~


and it was very new and nice surprised to all of Asian K-POP Fans


i think it was great time


and i felt little sad that i just only watching TV and see


i wanted to enjoy the time in SINGAPORE and wanted to see the BIG EVENT more closer


and my eyes was on Parade of great Performance it was unexpectable


and i felt so fantastic and i just wanna talk about something.....


MISS A and WEI CHEN


and WILL I AM AND CIEL


and LANG LANG AND B2ST


and other was great


but SNOOP DOGG and DR.DRE......................


who................?????????






SNOOP and DR.DRE?




oh maybe ......15years ago ?

all my teenage dream ? 


i just born in South Korea and grew up in here


but when i was younger i was so into US HIPHOP


but had so many problems to enjoy them


first reason....




too far from South Korea


and second reason




they don't even know South Korea


American musician has no ideas about South Korea


and they don't mind




Third reason


"Parental Advisory"


and four letter words in songs


their songs usual unable to sell in Korean record store or record shop


and unable to play their songs on the radio or TV


and unable to play their music videoes in South Korea


duh ~


maybe i was so love them but pretty harder to closer ...


now i guess it's little different but i think i figure out


when i see foreigners like Korean Pop Music


stranged and far from here but exciting and special and felt atract from it


different but lovely and different but special


so wanna know more and wanna closer




i know that feeling


because i was ....




but in that time has not many way to enjoy it


in 1998 i could use internet and in my head was full of RAP SONGS


and wanted to know more and more of silly issues or silly gossips of Rappers


they had fight....they stole somthing and got arrested


and they had money problems or their records got millione sellered


somebody shoot guns and arrested and somebody had trial


just liek that it was pretty darker stories but i was interest


and i remember in that time when the page turns online by internet .....it was pretty slower


and i remember i waited more than 4hours to see something about '2PAC'


and i remember that i tried to translate some lyrics of RAP SONGS


now little shame to tell you but i tried to learn how to speak English fromsongs by 90's HIPHOP


and tried to give questions to English teacher about lines of lyrics that i couldn't figure out


some teachers asked me 'where did you get that from ? so stupid and weird and wild words'


'do you watching wild american movies or something?'


and sometimes unable to figure out slang lines i gave questioned


then some teachers said "IT'S NOT ENGLISH ~"






i remember.....






hm...








but SNOOP DOGG?




visits to performance?


for K-POP PARTY?




maybe not he just need some $$$$$s


maybe.....




but i was so happy....that he visit and i saw him




hm.......




last 1997 i was so happy that his first album released in South Korea


my best friend who grew up in US


he explained so many various gossips of SNOOP DOGG


and complete result of Explain was "HE'S THE BEST IN US"


long time before 1997 tried to make his album as licensed


and record agency wants to release in South Korea


but atleast i could buy in Korea


and i was glad .....


but.....all the songs was not like easier to enjoy......


i still remember it .......

that kind a thing was fun ....






but suddenly some lyrics was "Serial KillaH~~~~~"


i gave English Teacher in class


"what is Serial Killah?"




i still remember her face


she stared at me and she said she doesn't wanna talk to me


later i knew what that mean


but im still wonder why they wanna talk about Serial Killer in the song???


they had to talk about ?


they wanted to be like ?


his second album was good


i remember the title of the album


"DOG FATHER...."




glad to remember him






and i bought that album and i guess


in that time i was teenager


i didn't even know what it is but i thought i'm look cooler


and i was happy inside


tried to act like Rapper


and tried to learn Slangs....


and i just wanted to have trade with REAL American who has ideas about US HIPHOP
........




i was not rich but tried to collect most populared HIPHOP albums....


so i knew who's Dr.Dre and his songs...


and i guess many years and years i been listen to American HIPHOP songs


but i think im not easier to enjoy all of things...


i think it's because i just born in here and grew up in here


maybe long time i had listen to it but i can't tell that i like 'G-FUNK' or something


later when Dr.Dre tried to produced Eminem


i thought it was good news from my teenage fantasy ...


and it was BIG HIT


and later almost Korean knews that he's most famous HIPHOP producer in US


i was happy to see it


and he visited SINGAPORE for Asian's Party.....


so glad anyway ......


i thought it's little late but i was so happy.....


i don't know what people says or people reacts...


but i like ~


wish them visit South Korea next time ....and i wish that more oftenly see them
